We source, import and distribute premium cycling goods from around the world, with the aim of providing value, safety, comfort and style to all cyclists.
How & Why Was
HJC SA Born?
16 Years of working in the cycling industry, of racing MTB cross country, half marathons, marathons and stage races, as well as in numerous road events made me realize there is one thing that cannot be compromised, and that is the safety that wearing a good cycling helmet provides.
When motorcycling became a big part of my daily commute, the HJC motorcycling helmets' affordability, comfort, style and years of professional expertise and research was without a doubt my first choice.
After several enquiries, bringing HJC cycling helmets to the South African cycling community was my next responsibility to help keep cyclists safe both on and off road.
A big part of keeping cyclists safe means providing a hub where they feel confident and safe to bring their bicycles for a personalised bicycle repair, from the basic care in a bike wash, to the premium care of specialised services such as a major bicycle service. All this done by myself, as a passionate qualified and certified bicycle mechanic. I work from my home based in Table View, or I travel to you. My Cytech qualification and experience as a bicycle technician has given me the opportunity to work as a bicycle technician, at events such as the ABSA Cape Epic. Other events I offer cyclists mechanical support are those held by the PPA, as well as those by other event organisers.
